Lunch Break Agreement Per new California Law:You may not work more than 5 hours without a 30 min break. You must take a lunch break BEFORE the 5th hour. Late lunches are not permitted after 5th hour. You may not exceed 5 hours straight at any point of the day without a 30 minute lunch period.You must take a FULL 30 MINUTE lunch period. Not 29.You must have permission to work any overtime (over 8 hours in the day).Examples:If your morning clock in is at 7:55 AM you would need to clock out for lunch by 12:55pmIf you clock back from lunch at 12pm, you would need to clock out at 5pm, or take a SECOND 30 minute lunch period at 5pm.If you clock out at 12:01, you may not clock back in before 12:31.If you breach this agreement, it will result in a write up for each offence until termination.Agreement(Required) I have read and agree to the Lunch Break Policy above.
